Description:

"In some of the most inaccessible forests on Earth, giant fires burn uncontrollably through coal seams buried far beneath the ground. For Adam McKendrick, one of the few men who have the expertise to extinguish them, the deeper they are the greater the challenge. That is, until the horror he experiences during a routine assignment in Indonesia leads him to the scene of another fire born in the dying flames of Hitler's Reich." "Searching for an explanation, McKendrick uncovers a radical form of international terrorism that uses fear and religious hatred in the fight for racial supremacy. Now he must also protect a young woman, Lucy Mitchell, whose research into Nazi history has put her life a risk." "Can McKendrick save Lucy from the hands of an organization developing the world's deadliest bioweapon, and prevent their vision of a new world order?"--BOOK JACKET.
