Description:

Invited to join an expedition to the North Pole, science writer Julian Cole expected nothing more exciting than the occasional polar bear. But that was before he met his companions: the eccentric, egomaniac Farmsworth and his outrageous wife, who could look sexy even in a parka and red flannel longjohns; Dr. Wentz, trying to drown a mysterious past in suicidal alcoholism; and the crazy albino Elvers, whose own secret spanned 15,000 years and half the solar system...
