Description:

MARRY IN HASTE? When man-about-town Scott Kendall agreed to marry gawky, young Laura Milford, she thought her prayers had been answered. But their hasty wedding before he left to fight Napolean was considerably less romantic than she had dreamed it would be. Laura was hurt and angry when Scott left. And he didn't seem to notice or care! For the six years he was gone, Laura nursed her grudge against him. And upon his return, the beautiful woman she had become was determined not to fall in love with him again....
