Sex, a mystery

Mystery Detective Fiction Women Sleuths

Fiona Quirina

Authors: Fiona Quirina
Print type: BOOK

Description:

"I'm not your typical call girl. I'm what is called a "sex surrogate" in the therapy biz. I prefer to think of myself as a courtesan. Maybe that's because of my background - an MBA from Harvard and my recent position as Senior Vice President of a major conglomerate. That job came to a resounding finale when I blew the whistle on some seriously unethical business practices of my employer." "Luckily, my old friend Sylvie came along and offered me this fascinating job - she's a sex therapist. My new life was humming along quite fabulously - meeting the rent on my Fifth Avenue duplex, keeping my closet full of designer clothes, plus supporting the homeless ministry of my roommate - when one of my favorite clients was stabbed in the back with an ice pick. In my bed. Now I'm the prime suspect. And to clear my name I'm stepping into what is probably the world's second oldest profession: detective."
