Kevin Connolly

Authors: Kevin Connolly
Print type: BOOK

Description:

"Each of the 45 poems in Kevin Connolly's Revolver is written in a different form or vocal register - "revolving" through poetic personae and possibilities. Taken together, they present a challenge to the idea that an honest poetic voice need be singular, static, egocentric, and bound by convention. Cycling through subjects as trivial as a late-inning curveball and as loaded as the paradox of time itself, these poems address the broad range of human experience: elation and cynicism, joy and grief, terror and love."--BOOK JACKET.
