Description:

"They say that your life can change in an instant. For Bill Reed, that instant occurs when his motorcycle slams into a sport utility vehicle backing up on a rain-slick street. He awakes in the hospital with most of his left leg gone, facing the sudden prospect of living life as an above-the-knee amputee. For the successful ex-FBI agent, athlete, and "man's man," the loss creates a dramatic sense of fear, doubt, and depression."--Jacket.
