Authors: Suzanne Lyon

Description:

"When she was 15 years old, Lael Buckley entered a steer-riding event on a dare from her brother. She won the event and experienced the exhilaration of rodeo. She had subdued a massive steer and looked good doing it! Lael's parents were against it, but she persisted, although there were many obstacles to her dream of becoming a professional. This is a story of a time and place when women competed on an equal basis with men."--Publisher.
