Description:

Sophie loves riding at the Double-L Ranch. But real estate developer Jared Reynolds plans to buy it--and all the park's other private land--to build a hotel resort. Now, the local reservoir is failing water-safety tests. The horses are getting sick. And other ranchers are considering selling to Reynolds. On a hunch, the girls take horses on an abandoned trail to find the real source of the pollution.
