Authors: Elaine Livermore
Print type: BOOK

Description:

The dog wants the bone. The cat wants the bone. The dog gets it first but doesn't keep it long. The wily cat waits her moment and then quietly steals it away. And so begins a merry chase from room to room, inside and out, dog chasing cat, finding her, then losing her again. Each room of the house becomes a maze of delicate patterns as a clothesline, a tree, and a garden hold many secret hiding places for the elusive cat. Few words are needed here, for the art tells the story. Elaine Livermore's intricate line drawings conceal the cat, and familiar objects become fascinating puzzles designed to tease the eye, frustrate the dog, and give the reader many delightful moments trying to find the cat.
