Tyrel Bannon knew more about a plow than longhorn cattle, but the green farm boy was determined to become a Triple C rider on the long, hard drive from Texas to Dodge, the "Queen City of the Cowtowns." But this was a trail that only the brave, smart and lucky could survive. Waiting ahead were Kiowa warriors, raging rivers, drought, storms... and vicious rustlers out to blacken the dust with Triple C blood.
