Description:

What is the prescription for a heartbroken doctor? After her young husband's death, Dr. Brenda Rafferty seems poised to fulfill her lifelong dream of opening a pharmacy that operates on Christian values. But within twenty-four hours she meets two men and a little boy who threaten her well-laid plans. Parnell Pierce, owner of the building that houses the pharmacy, nurses a grudge against God for permitting the tragic death of his wife that left his son, Angelo, motherless. Gil Montgomery is a competitor whose warm welcome—both personal and professional—nevertheless leaves some doubt as to his true motives. Someone wants Brenda out of business... before she has a chance to dispense God's brand of abiding love.
